End Of Season
We'd like to thank everybody who has come the Alhambra to see our films throughout a 2007-8 season of which I think we can be proud. Films have been well attended, audience appreciation has been very positive, and friendships have been formed and cemented. On Sunday evening talk turned yesterday to 'what was your favourite film of the whole season?' It would indeed be very interesting to know, so please vote in the poll down the right hand side of this page.
Of course it's not over yet and if you're hungry for more great films you should be able to squeeze in 14 more over the weekend at the 9th Keswick Film Festival.

Born and Bred
We were sorry to disappoint you over the non-arrival of Born and Bred on Sunday, so we have arranged a screening of the film this Thursday (6th March) at 6pm, at the Alhambra.
This will be the proper 35mm version that should have been here on Sunday, so the sound should be as good as you are used to normally. Please phone me if you want to check or ask anything. Members’ tickets will be £2 only (free to spring passholders of course).

2 Days In Paris Review
This week John Stakes shares his opinion on 2 Days In Paris.
"The film was continuously enjoyable with several laugh out loud moments, and deserved its inclusion in the Club's Spring season to counterbalance the more serious and socially gritty offerings on show" You can read the full review here.
