The celebrated German filmmaker Werner Herzog revisits his turbulent
and legendary love-hate relationship with actor Klaus Kinski,
which was utterly puzzling to outsiders and yet survived five
films together and mutual death threats. Using clips of Kinski's
excesses and revisiting old haunts, Herzog paints a stirring picture
of his departed comrade.
