7th KESWICK FILM FESTIVAL

THE CUMBRIA YOUTH ALLIANCE
YOUNG CUMBRIAN FILM-MAKER SHORT FILM AWARD
The Keswick Film Festival, in conjunction with the Cumbria Youth Alliance, is holding an open competition for best short film by a young Cumbrian film-maker. We invite submissions from film-makers who meet our entry criteria for their films to be shown at the 7th Keswick Film Festival, 16th-19th February 2006. An award of £500 will be made to the maker(s) of the best short film.
The Keswick Film Festival is dedicated to showing the best independent cinema from around the world, and to providing film education to Cumbrians. The 7th Keswick Film Festival will include an expanded film-education strand, of which this competition is a part. The Festival aims to showcase Cumbrian talent in film-making. All entries, whether amateur or professional, are welcome.

The 2006 festival will take place between 16th and 19th February. More details will appear on this site towards the end of 2005, sign up for email updates to be kept informed of any developments.
