News From Keswick Film Club
More Awards
13 March 2002
Once again KFC was short-listed in both Film Society of the Year and Best Programme categories of the annual British Federation of Film Societies Awards. We were very pleased to win the Best Programme Award again! It's thought to be unprecedented to manage it two years running, and apparently the judges had us some way ahead ( together with an enterprising student society that programmes theme-linked double-headers).

Also don't forget the AGM is on 17th March at 4.30 in the Alhambra

New Season
12 December 2001
The new programme of films starts with Me You Them on Sunday 13th January. We hope to see as many of you as possible for a free glass of wine before the film from 4.45pm onwards.

Don't forget that Code Inconnu is coming up for air on 7th April.

Details have begun to appear on the site regarding the 2002 Film Festival. More and more information will be added in the run up to the festival so keep checking back.

Opening Night
20 September 2001
The new programme of films starts with Before Night Falls on Sunday 30th September. We hope to see as many of you as possible for a free glass of wine before the film from 4.15pm onwards.
Annual General Meeting
26 April 2001
The 3rd AGM of Keswick Film Club took place at The George Hotel on March 25th, the minutes of the meeting are available here.
Audience Questionnaire
23 April 2001
As part of our continuing audience development plans, we are trying to learn more about our current customers. To help us plan for future events we want to find out a little about you. If you've attended any of our screenings you can help by filling in a short questionnaire.
End of Season
22 April 2001
As another successful season (Himalaya sold out) comes to an end the web site gets a makeover, we hope you like the new look and will continue to visit and contribute over the summer months. Now that there's a gaping hole in your Sunday evening why not write a small review of one of the films or start a discussion in our forum.
