Synopsis

UK Premiere

Iyo Ang Dagat (The Sea is Yours) is a documentary film about the relationship between people and sharks in Palawan, Philippines. It tells the stories of people interacting with sharks and rays in their everyday lives. Centred around the Sulu Sea the film follows fishermen, marine park rangers, enforcement officers, business owners and conservationists.

As the cast reflects on their roles and hopes, Iyo Ang Dagat asks a vital question: Can we protect sharks - and the people who depend on the sea - before it’s too late?
