Synopsis

Oscar-nominated as Best Foreign Film for its visually stunning widescreen cinematography and authentic drama, Himalaya tells the story of a perilous trek to trade salt for grain in the dizzying locations of these spectacular mountains. Keswick Film Club won the Best New Film Society at the British Federation Of Film Societies awards in 2000.
